You own Your data
Tradevine is an online multi sales channel and back office solution for online sellers. Tradevine includes sales, purchasing, inventory and shipping features. Subject to Tradevine accessing non-identifying, aggregate User usage and trading information: the data entered, or imported on instruction by the Users of an Organisation remains the property of the Organisation and Tradevine will never use nor make available for use any of this User specific information without permission of the Organisation.
You control who has access to your data
The data entered, or imported on instruction, by the Users of an Organisation is stored securely in a database and is only accessible to the approved Users of the Organisation. The Administrator of the Organisation (Administrator) will have full control over who is invited to be a User.
A user name and password is required in order to access an Organisation's information in Tradevine. It is the User's responsibility to keep their passwords safe. It is the Administrator's responsibility to ensure that any Users that are invited to use the Organisation's account have permission to view the Organisation's information stored in the Tradevine account.
Tradevine, Tradevine's staff and Tradevine's partners do not have access to the User's passwords and cannot access the Organisation's account or data via normal log on methods without receiving an invitation from the Administrator.
Tradevine monitors usage
Tradevine may access non-identifying and aggregated usage information that may include the number of Users of our service for the purposes of monitoring use and server and software performance, as well as for other internal purposes of Tradevine.
Tradevine reserves the right to publish anonymous aggregate trading and aggregate financial data and freely use and publish such aggregate data that may be inputted into the system which may include aggregate product and price data.
Our data is sent securely across the internet
Tradevine Servers have security certificates so all data transferred between the Users of an Organisation and the Tradevine Servers is encrypted. However, the internet is not in itself a secure environment. Users should only enter, or instruct the importation of, data to the database within a secure environment. This means that the User's browser must support the encryption security used in connection with the Tradevine Servers.
Tradevine stores your Data in the location Tradevine considers will give the Organisation and its Users most efficient access from wherever in the World they may be. Access and storage controls via the Software and the Website are however administered by Tradevine in New Zealand as the holder of that Data (Tradevine's address and contact details are at www.tradevine.com/contact-us.html).
Where an Organisation or User accesses or inputs Data from somewhere other than the country where the Data is stored or to be stored, the Organisation and the User consent to that Data being transferred from one country to the other (including via any intermediate country) as a function of transmission across the internet.
Tradevine will give you access to your data at any time
Providing You are a subscriber (paying for) the Tradevine service; on request, Tradevine will provide the Administrator with a full export of the Organisation's data in a common file format determined by Tradevine. The Organisation's data may be permanently deleted by Tradevine 90 days after the Organisation stops paying to use Tradevine, or at the Administrator's request, or if the account is cancelled by the User or if the data is associated with the free trial period offered by Tradevine.
