Tradevine Limited was founded by successful engineering entrepreneur Peter Montgomery along with co-founder John Clarke. The company is based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Director profiles of Tradevine
Peter Montgomery CEO – Director
Peter has a strong background in SME management and governance spanning 25 years. Prior to founding Tradevine, Peter was a Director of Cavotec MSL (NZX:CCC), Managing Director of Cavotec Moormaster Limited and previous to that, CEO of Mooring Systems Limited (NZX:MSL) which he founded and listed on the New Zealand Stock Exchange in 2001. Peter has an MBA from Massey University, is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management and an Accredited Director with the NZ Institute of Directors.
John Clarke Independent Director
John co-founded Tradevine after 20 years of management and directorship roles in the transport and manufacturing sectors. He was most recently Chief Operating Officer at NZX listed Mooring Systems Limited and the General Manager and a director of Cavotec MoorMaster Ltd. John has an MBA and is a very experienced NZ Master Mariner and Harbour Pilot. John strongly believes that the purpose of business software applications is simple but rarely achieved: they should help business owners to solve real problems and reduce cost without adding layers of administration and complexity.
Phil Shipley Director
Phil has worked in the IT sector for 25 years in a variety of roles. Over the past 14 years he has worked as a project manager delivering and implementing organisation-wide ERP solutions for many companies including Rolls Royce, Apple and Sony Ericsson. Phil is the Tradevine Product Owner.
Peter Supyk Chairman
Peter was appointed the Chairman of Tradevine Limited in October 2011. Originally trained as a quantity surveyor in the United Kingdom, Peter established his first business at the age of 21. From modest beginnings Peter grew his business interests within the UK building industry into a very substantial concern that employed over 200 people. After completing an MBO with his UK executives, Peter and his family moved to New Zealand. Peter is a Director of Christchurch based Whisker Decorating Limited and is deeply involved in coaching and sporting activities within his local community.
